Our website is dedicated to putting community perspectives at the forefront. We do this by prioritizing open forum topics, holding regular monthly meetings with community members, the developer and contractor and feedback that allows residents to share their opinions on local developments and issues. Where possible MSCLG oversees discussions to make sure everyone’s voice can be expressed respectfully, while posts with clear local relevance are featured prominently. We also provide updates on how community input influences our advocacy work or guides our responses to developers and contractors. By fostering open dialogue with the developer, contractor and Camden Council we endeavour that the web site truly represents and amplifies the community’s interests. This is a big ask of our volunteer members but our group has been successful at pursuing and safeguarding community interests such as mitigating noisy work, bringing focus to social housing, heritage, traffic issues, waste management and making community use of site hoardings.
